Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Jeeran ("we," "us," "our," or the "Platform"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Jeeran mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), which connects customers with restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and other vendors ("Vendors") for the ordering and delivery of goods.

By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and place orders on Jeeran. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Account Registration

To place an order, you may be required to create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including your name, phone number, email address, and delivery address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Orders and Pricing

  • All product listings, descriptions, images, and prices are provided by the Vendors and are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Jeeran acts as an intermediary platform connecting you with Vendors and does not manufacture, prepare, or guarantee the quality of the products sold by Vendors.
  • Order totals include the item price, applicable delivery fees, service charges, and taxes as displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.
  • Jeeran reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at its discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or unavailability of items.

4. Delivery

  • Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to traffic, weather, order volume, or other factors beyond our control.
  • You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and being reasonably available to receive your order. Jeeran and its delivery partners are not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect address information.
  • Delivery is currently limited to areas within our defined service zones. Orders placed from addresses outside a served zone may be rejected or subject to alternative arrangements.

5. Payment

  • Jeeran supports payment via cash on delivery, digital wallet, and other payment methods as made available within the app from time to time.
  • By selecting a payment method, you authorize Jeeran and/or its payment partners to process the transaction for the order total.
  • Minimum order amounts and maximum cash-on-delivery limits may apply per Vendor or per zone, as displayed at checkout.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund eligibility are governed by our separate Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy, which form part of these Terms by reference. Please review those policies for detailed conditions.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or networks.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse Vendors, delivery personnel, or Jeeran staff.

Jeeran reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of this section.

8. Vendor Relationship

Vendors listed on Jeeran are independent third parties responsible for the preparation, quality, and accuracy of the items they list and sell. Jeeran does not own or operate Vendor establishments and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of Vendors, except as required by applicable law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jeeran shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from delayed, incorrect, or failed deliveries.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Jeeran platform, including logos, trademarks, graphics, and software, is the property of Jeeran or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written consent.

11. Changes to These Terms

Jeeran may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Jordan.
